YOUR TEACHING STYLE: Alignment awareness, mindful movement
MUSIC/SONGS ON ROTATION IN YOUR CLASS: Love the feels from Beauvois, "Jupiter" and "Daylight". I can't go without some music from my motherland, usually my favorite "Hi'ilawe" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. And don't be surprised if you hear some beats from Rapcaviar ;)
FAVORITE YOGA POSE: Ever changing, but as of late I love adding backbends to poses. I used to loathe backbends, but I made an intention to work on them this winter and now I crave them! My new challenge is working on adding a backbend to my handstand.
FAVORITE PHILLY RESTAURANT: Although Suraya has made a serious impression on me, I rarely go a week without a 12oz hand ground burger at Rouge.
TWO THINGS STILL LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST: Move to Hawaii. Hike Pacific Crest Trail.
IF YOU HAD ONE EXTRA HOUR OF FREE TIME A DAY, HOW WOULD YOU USE IT: S E L F - CA R E.

Anne found yoga in 2013 as a deconditioning tool from running and triathlon training, but soon found that yoga produced more than positive physical changes. Over the years her training transitioned from performance enhancement to a daily practice in health and well being. She believes that yoga is an effective tool in the search for and obtaining the quality of life to which she aspired.
Anne completed her 200 hour Power Yoga Training from Core Power Yoga in 2017. Her classes are rooted in accepting where you are without judgment and building a strong physical foundation from which to grow into your truest, most authentic self. Yoga helped her cultivate an inner attitude of strength and openness to meet life as it is, firmly rooted in her physical presence and it is why she is so passionate about teaching others the possibilities of yoga and its life changing results.
