Caitlin has been an active person her entire life, loving the feeling of physically exerting herself to reach goals, relieve stress, and experience the great outdoors. Her yoga journey started as a purely physical supplement to athletic training. Unintentionally, yoga started to become part of her routine. Not realizing it while it was happening, yoga was not only bringing her physical challenge, it was giving her ways to mentally navigate big changes happening in her life.
Through practice, Caitlin learned dedicating time to her mat helped her grow, heal, and change herself mentally and physically. In addition to the self exploration, yoga also introduced her to an incredible community that inspired her to become a teacher.
Caitlin completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in St. Louis, which transformed the way she approaches her practice. Once she allowed herself to let go of what she looks like and embrace what she felt like on (and off) the mat, she felt a positive connectedness to herself and those around her. Caitlin aims to bring that feeling to others through her teaching!
