Carina Wulff

YOUR TEACHING STYLE: Creative & thoughtful

MUSIC/SONGS ON ROTATION IN YOUR CLASS: My playlists are pretty eclectic and always changing... but you will hear Shallou, Odesza, Alina Baraz, Ghost Loft, Verite pretty regularly.

FAVORITE YOGA POSE: Heart openers & Hip openers

FAVORITE PHILLY RESTAURANT: Royal Sushi Izakaya in Queen Village.

TWO THINGS STILL LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST: To drive across the country and back, taking the long way to see as much as possible... and I'd really love to dive deeper and take a course in herbal medicine.

IF YOU HAD ONE EXTRA HOUR OF FREE TIME A DAY, HOW WOULD YOU USE IT: I would spend it reading or drawing and painting.

Carina grew up immersed in the world of dance and the creative arts. When she found herself on a whim in her first yoga class in 2001, the practice immediately struck a chord deep within her and she quickly grew to love the connection and ease she felt in her body and the sense of calm in her mind that yoga gave her. While in college, Carina spent a summer in India, where she studied anthropology, eastern philosophy and religion and practiced yoga on a daily basis. This experience solidified her desire to teach yoga. Carina has a BA in Art History from The Tyler School of Art at Temple University and is a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Her passion for food, holistic nutrition and healing is deeply and synergistically intertwined with her passion for yoga.

Carina completed her RYT - 200 HR certification in Alignment Based Hatha Yoga at Three Queens Yoga, where she studied with Mariel Freeman, Alex Holmes and Alison Mungan. She is currently pursuing her RYT - 500 HR certification through Three Queens Yoga, as well. Carina strives to share her passion for yoga through classes that are creative, playful, inspired and thoughtfully sequenced. Carina sees yoga as a daily practice done both on and off the mat and a powerful tool for self- inquiry, self-awareness and personal empowerment in the journey towards health and well-being, mind, body and spirit.
