Dakota took his first yoga class in college but didn’t begin to practice regularly until he realized it helped him manage his stress and anxiety while working a demanding corporate job. Since then, he completed his 200 hour RYT training in June 2018 at Yoga Vida in New York before relocating to Philadelphia.
He has also completed a 30 Hour Katonah Yoga Intensive in August 2018 under the guidance of Abbie Galvin at The Studio in New York. He continues to study Katonah Yoga as well as vinyasa modalities and hopes to relay the wisdom and joy he has gleaned to his students so that they can live better lives both in and out of the studio.
