Parks On Tap at Matthias Baldwin Park for Roots2Rise

  • Matthias Baldwin Park 423 North 19th Street Philadelphia, PA, 19130 United States (map)

Guess what! Parks on Tap is in our neighborhood and Lumos's co-founder Larkin Silverman is teaching on behalf of Roots2Rise.

Come out on Thursday June 27 from 6-7pm for yoga at Matthias Baldwin Park in Callowhill. Class is free to attend and participants who donate $10 and above to Roots2Rise will receive a free beer ticket to redeem at Parks on Tap that same day.

All donations go directly to support Roots2Rise. Roots2Rise is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free and low-cost yoga and mindfulness classes to the community —often in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods where yoga and wellness options are not available. Roots2Rise teaches programming in spaces that are both communal and familiar.

Come on out, Do some yoga, enjoy the Parks and donate to a great cause.

Parks on Tap provides fresh food, beer on tap, wine, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages in a festive outdoor environment featuring comfortable chairs and hammocks, and clean restrooms.
