Jillian began practicing yoga in 2001 to heal her body from years of running. She began a consistent practice and was amazed by the remarkable transformations occurring in her body, and especially the shifts in her mind. In 2012, she completed an Anusara-inspired 200-hour training at Focus in Bryn Mawr, PA. The philosophy of uniting Attitude (heart), Alignment (mind) + Action (body) deeply resonates with Jillian to this day. She continued her studies in a 500-hour certification in The Advanced Training at Three Queens Yoga that was completed in August 2018. Through this 500-hour certification, Jillian additionally completed a Restorative Training with Jillian Pransky and Eric Dupree, and a Trauma Training through Yoga University.
Jillian also received her Barre Certification in 2013, and enjoys playing with these two forms of fitness and creating classes that are a fusion of both. She teaches yoga as a modality for honest self-reflection and views the practice as a way to connect deeply with ourselves and the world around us.
