Looking for a change from her old gym routine, Julie first stepped onto a yoga mat out of sheer curiosity in 2011. Through breath and asana, the practice of yoga challenged her mentally and physically, while also providing an outlet from the stresses of everyday life. She fell in love with the connection to her breath, and the feeling of sheer bliss after savasana. Grateful to her teachers who inspire her both on and off the mat, Julie was eager to share her love for yoga with others. In January 2017, she earned her RYT-200 certification through Svadhyaya Teacher Trainings led by Allison Sobel and Kate Goodyear. In April 2018, she completed her second 200-hour training at Three Queens Yoga with Mariel Freeman.
Julie guides her students through energizing and balanced vinyasa flows. She encourages all students to find their own pace, their own breath, and to learn to listen to their bodies.
Outside of the studio, Julie enjoys bubble tea, teaching her dog silly tricks, and traveling with her husband.
