Maura has always loved movement-- from a young age she was always dancing, running, and swimming. Maura took her first Pilates class in college after a hamstring injury. Maura found that consistent Pilates practice helped her to stay injury free but more importantly provided her with a positive outlet for stress.
Maura hopes to empower students to listen to their bodies and enjoy the process of moving and feeling comfortable in their BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUELY MADE bodies.
Maura is a certified Mat Pilates teacher, receiving her certification through Power Pilates in 2018. She is also currently pursuing her Masters in Counseling from Villanova University, she hopes to one day integrate her counseling practice with her love of dance and movement. When Maura is not practicing Pilates or studying she is reading and probably drinking tea.
