Join Philadelphia based Restorative Yoga and Mindfulness teacher, Erick DuPree and empower yourself with the tools to teach safe and supported Restorative Yoga classes.
Training will be held on Saturday, January 12th from 1:00-7:00 PM at Lumos Yoga & Barre, 2001 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130
About Erick DuPree:
Erick is an award-winning queer writer, restorative yoga and mindfulness teacher. He is credentialed, E-RYT YACEP, and his advanced training in therapeutic restorative yoga with Jillian Pranksy, Yoga Works NYC. Erick is also a certified MBSR Teacher Trainer through the Oasis Institute.
This six-hour training will demystify the yogas of relaxation, and build on your innate wisdom as a teacher. You will learn the anatomy of stress, proper alignment and biomechanics and explore how to hold space.
Through experiential learning and group work, you will leave with all the tools to sequence supported, rest specific, restorative yoga sequences with "all the props" and sometimes only one prop. Participants can expect to leave the training with 3-5 class-ready restorative sequences.

Biomechanics for Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga Sequencing & Cueing
Language and Voice
Partner & Group Teaching
A Certification of Completion. This can be used for Yoga Alliance CEU hours.
A training manual compiled by Erick
A list of recommended reading and resources.
