Maya Kilcullen

Maya's Pilates journey began in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to move her movement practice at home. A lifelong athlete, Maya has always enjoyed exploring new forms of exercise, but she found a special love for Pilates due to its healing nature that relieved her of chronic back pain and muscle tightness. After leaving her New York corporate job in 2023, Maya moved back to her Philly hometown and began her 450-hour comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training at Drexel University.

In December 2023, Maya completed her Mat Pilates training and is currently finishing her training in Mixed Equipment and Reformer Pilates. Through teaching, Maya aims to provide clients with the same sense of body autonomy that she found during her own practice. Blending contemporary additions with a classical Pilates foundation, you can expect classes with Maya to be fun, challenging, and upbeat, always to the backdrop of a great playlist.
