Elizabeth Livingston

Elizabeth is a Peak Pilates Classical Comprehensive Instructor Trainee who is building on years of personal practice and who believes Pilates instructors forever are students who continue to learn from their teachers and deepen their own personal practice. Elizabeth practices Pilates to: build her strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance; regulate her nervous system; and, challenge and grow her mind-body connection. She aims to help her students achieve these same goals, feel confident in the work, and leave aligned and empowered. Let's move together.

Elizabeth's passion for Pilates began after she learned about hypermobility and dysautonomia, which explained a series of injuries, including a severed ACL. In Pilates, she can work safely within the joints with precision and control to build total body strength (the core, but more!) and maintain good posture. Elizabeth welcomes students of all backgrounds, body types, and experience levels to her classes, believing that diverse perspectives contribute to the richest environments. She'll bring her magic to class with her, and she asks that you bring yours, too.

Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Masters of Arts in English Language & Literature, and a Juris Doctorate. She regularly teaches continuing legal education courses for other attorneys and has taught law, writing, rhetoric, and literature at The College of New Jersey and University of Delaware. She also has a background in dance, theatre, and music. Elizabeth studies classical Pilates under Master Instructor Charlotte Rosen.
