Jennifer Pollard
Spending much of her earlier life in organized athletics, Jenn was searching for a new physical activity that felt both challenging and genuinely enjoyable. After the pandemic, she found her way back into fitness through Barre classes at Lumos, where what began as an effort to simply add movement back into her life quickly became a grounding and empowering weekly routine.
During a career transition, Jenn immersed herself in both Barre and Pilates classes at Lumos, discovering a deeper passion for mindful movement, thoughtful sequencing, and the way small, intentional actions can create a large impact. Living with Type 1diabetes has further shaped her appreciation for body awareness and the mind–body connection. She was inspired to pursue Barre Teacher Training at Lumos in the fall of 2025 so she could share her journey and experience with others.
Jenn approaches her classes with warmth and clarity, emphasizing natural-feeling sequences that combine simple movements to build strength, confidence, connection, and power from the inside out.
