Corinthian Ave Opening FAQ’s

  • Our third Lumos studio is opening in mid-January! We couldn’t be happier to take this next step for Lumos, and for our neighborhood community. This new studio, at the corner of Corinthian Ave. and Parrish Street, is situated between our two existing locations, and will exclusively offer Pilates classes.

Read on below for some FAQ’s, and we look forward to welcoming you in to our new space!

  • Where is this location? 835-837 Corinthian Avenue - the corner of Parrish Street, and Corinthian Avenue. It is in between our Green Street and Parrish Street locations - making a triangle of Lumos studios.

  • Is there parking? No, it is street parking only.

  • Will we offer the same variety of classes? This new location will exclusively offer Pilates classes. Our Mat Pilates and Springboard classes from Parrish will move over here, as will out Mat Pilates classes from Green. We will be adding more Springboards to offer a larger capacity class of 10 people, and we’re adding something brand new - group Reformer classes. We will have eight reformers! By moving all of our Pilates classes into one location, this allows us to focus on Yoga, Barre, and Yoga Sculpt and Green and Parrish.

  • What does the schedule look like? And who is teaching there? You can check out our schedule here - filter by location to Corinthian Ave. To start, we will be offering just a few classes each day, and as our staff undergo some additional trainings and we hire new instructors, we’ll be adding more classes, especially Reformer classes.

  • What will pricing look like? Can I use my passes at this new location? - We are doing a price increase as of January 1 (which was announced at the beginning of December), but Springboard and Mat classes will continue to be bookable with your memberships and packages. Reformer classes will be a separate pricing option, but we will offer drop ins, packages, and new hybrid memberships that include reformer classes. We also will offer a discount on Reformer drop ins to those with existing memberships. Full details can be found on our pricing page.

  • Do I need to create a new or separate Momence account? You will NOT need to create a new Momence account to take classes at this new location.

  • Are there any booking/visit restrictions? At the present time, there is a max of two visits a day for Unlimited Members, as well as for Intro Unlimited passes. This will remain in place - you can visit two times daily total, meaning you can visit one studio twice in one day OR visit two different locations once.

  • How do I book classes? Visit our schedule page here - or in the Momence app.

  • Will anything change at Green Street or Parrish Street? By and large our class schedule, instructors, and clean studios will remain the same. Mat Pilates classes from both studios will move to Corinthian, as well as the Springboard classes from Parrish. We will be installing 3 more barres at Parrish where we had the Springboards, which will allow us to increase the capacity for barre classes. We’ll also be able to add a few more barre classes with new instructors at Parrish in place of the Pilates classes.

  • Will you still offer community classes at Corinthian Street? At the present time, we do not have any $8 community classes scheduled, but as we hire new instructors we will be offering community classes with them to introduce them!

  • What props will you have? Will I need to bring a mat? We will have a variety of props and will provide any props you’ll need. Pilates mats will be provided as well.

  • Are Grip Socks required? We require grip socks at this new location for a number of reasons - we recently finished construction, the grip socks add a layer of cushioning and support, and it is more sanitary than barefoot.
