Luminous Tranquility: Retreat to Asheville

Welcome to the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina, where you’ll enjoy a four night yoga retreat with Lumos Instructors Eunmi Chang and Sam Leonetti. Part of the Appalachian range, the Blue Ridge Mountains are among the oldest in the world, and are known for their distinctive “blue” color, emanating from it’s mountain forests. Our days include hikes in the mountains, a visit to Biltmore, dinners at James Beard award nominated restaurants, daily vinyasa and restorative yoga classes, and a soundbath led by Eunmi.

Come away with us and experience the magic!

The Itinerary

Wednesday

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Lodge! We’ll start the retreat with a Restorative Yoga session on the deck, followed by a farm-to-table dinner at The Market Place, a 2024 James Beard Semi-Finalist.

Thursday

Take this first morning to explore Asheville, or just relax on the property. We’ll head over to The Biltmore Estate at lunchtime - you’ll be able to eat on site, tour the house, explore the grounds, and check out the special Chihuly exhibit that is visiting the estate in 2024. From there, we’ll drive the group to All Soul’s outdoor patio for seasonal wood-fired pizzas.

Friday

We’ll head out to onto the Blue Ridge Parkway for a late morninghike at Craggy Pinnacle, one of the most well-known hikes in the Asheville area. Twisted, jagged, rocky “crags” give Craggy Gardens its name, but these high elevation summits are home to stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours!

Saturday

We’ll drive down to Pisgah National Forest, and spend the day hiking through a couple of trails. Eunmi will offer a soundbath this evening to conclude our time in Asheville. For our final night, we’ll head to the private dining room at Curate, a James Beard Award-winning restaurant, for a group dinner.

Sunday

We’ll offer a final Yoga session before breakfast, and depart from the lodge. For those catching an evening flight out, we will store your bags offsite at a secure location about 20 minutes from the airport. Feel free to spend this day exploring more of Asheville!
