Jackie Pesavento

Jackie's love for Yoga accelerated in March of 2020 during the height of the pandemic to help cope with anxiety and pass time while stuck at home. She quickly found a passion for the practice and loved how it not only was a "work out" but also a "work in". Finding a workout that exercised her body as well as her mind and soul at the same time was a game changer.

Jackie has always had a love for teaching and she is currently in her fourth year as a middle school teacher. She thought, "What could be better than combining my two passions? Yoga and teaching!" She became a 200 hour certified yoga teacher virtually through The Traveling Yoga Studio. Jackie's teaching style is upbeat, encouraging, and very empowering (bonus points for her great playlists!) Her uplifting voice will guide you through an energizing flow as she encourages you to move with intention and listen to your breath. She provides many options, which is great for all levels (beginner to experienced yogi). You’ll leave class feeling happier, energized, and ready to take on the day. When Jackie isn’t on her mat you can find her spoiling her puppy, soaking up the sunshine, taking a spin class, or spending time with her nieces and nephews!

  • TWO THINGS STILL LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST: Run a marathon (or maybe a half) and become fluent in Spanish.

  • IF YOU HAD ONE EXTRA HOUR OF FREE TIME A DAY, HOW WOULD YOU USE IT: Hmm, either napping or at the dog park with my pup, Ollie!
