Katie Gundlach

Katie’s Pilates journey began in 2018 as she began training at the School of Philadelphia Ballet. She took her first mat Pilates class during her time there and instantly fell in love. During her time there, she was able to use her Pilates practice to breathe, move her body with her breath, and escape her outside life. This newfound passion continued outside of her dance repertoire as she began to take mat and reformer classes within her hometown.

After officially moving to Philly to engage in her college studies, Katie began the 450-hour comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training at Drexel University. Katie completed the Mat Pilates training in December of 2023, and is currently finishing up training in Mixed Equipment and Reformer Pilates. As a teacher, she strives to provide clients with that same sense of ease and escape from the outside life that she was able to find. Mainly utilizing the Classical Pilates foundation, Katie’s classes bring a sense of flow, new challenges, a few corny jokes, and lots of breathing.
