RaGina McKissick

RaGina is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Dance Choreographer. She has been in the fitness industry for almost a decade and a dancer instructor/choreographer for almost two decades. She has taught classes and trained clients throughout the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey areas. RaGina specializes in HIlT, Circuit Training, Strengthening and Conditioning, Boxing, Dance Fitness, and Prenatal Postpartum Fitness Training. RaGina incorporates various styles of training into her clients' personalized training programs and enjoys teaching a variety of group class formats including Lumos’ It’s LIIT, Barre + Box, and the newest prenatal/postpartum class offerings, Lumos’ Mama’s LIIT and Mama’s Strong.

As a Master level Social Worker and Fitness Expert, RaGina’s strategy is to meet clients wherever they are in their fitness journey and then empower them to achieve their goals through fun but effective coaching techniques. RaGina gets as much out of teaching classes and training clients as the clients do and truly believes she’s fulfilling her purpose in life. RaGina’s motto when it comes to fitness is “Get in how you fit in!”

  • YOUR TEACHING STYLE: Creative for all fitness levels; energetic and fun through music and coaching techniques; burn and sweat like no other!!!

  • MUSIC/SONGS ON ROTATION IN YOUR CLASS: I’m eclectic so you’re going to hear EVERYTHING in my classes!!! We will always cool down and stretch to an instrumental or ballad.

  • FAVORITE BARRE MOVE: down-an-inch up-and-inch parallel ball squats

  • FAVORITE PHILLY RESTAURANT: Front Street Cafe or Warm Daddy’s and the sister restaurant “South”

  • TWO THINGS STILL LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST: Travel to Spain and fly in a hot air balloon

  • IF YOU HAD ONE EXTRA HOUR OF FREE TIME A DAY, HOW WOULD YOU USE IT: Sleep because I don’t get enough of it.
