Embodied Yoga: A 50-Hour Immersion on the Eight Limbs of Yoga
A four-weekend training designed for both yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners looking to deepen their understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice.
This immersion explores the Eight Limbs of Yoga through a blend of philosophy, movement, breathwork, meditation, self-inquiry, and practical application. We'll dive into the Yoga Sutras, the Yamas and Niyamas, asana, pranayama, meditation, and what it truly means to live yoga both on and off the mat. Each weekend includes thoughtful discussion, embodied practice, journaling, group reflection, and opportunities to integrate the teachings into daily life.
Rather than functioning as a traditional teacher training, this is designed as an accessible immersion for anyone wanting to deepen their personal practice while also providing valuable continuing education for yoga teachers.

About Alyssa: Alyssa has always led an active life, but discovering yoga in 2012 transformed her perspective on movement and well-being. What began as a physical practice soon became a deeply rooted, lifelong journey. In 2020, her curiosity led her to complete a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Wake Up Yoga. Since then, she has expanded her expertise with certifications in Yin, Restorative, and Prenatal Yoga and furthered her studies through a 300-hour advanced training at Three Queens Yoga.
Now a 500-hour E-RYT and RPYT, Alyssa has experience teaching all levels of practitioners and is well versed in offering a variety of modifications through precise cueing, mindful alignment and bodily awareness.
Outside of the studio, Alyssa is likely cuddling with her cat, exploring new corners of the world, or supporting pregnant clients as a dedicated doula.
